Our team of staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring care experienced young people have a place where they can feel safe, heard, valued, and supported. We provide a sense of family and a community of ongoing, unconditional support that young people can access whenever they need to.
At our modern, bright and welcoming centre, the Hut, we offer a variety of services and activities throughout the year for young people who are transitioning from care to independence, children and young people in care, care experienced adults and kinship carers.
Our aim is for children and young people to lead the way, and we tailor our support according to each person’s needs and circumstances. We work sensitively and empathically with individuals at their chosen pace and for as long as they need us.

Our work focuses on seven key areas:
- Increasing confidence and self-esteem
- Enhancing life skills to support independence
- Developing healthy, positive relationships
- Enabling engagement in positive activities and events
- Creating a safe, secure network where young people feel wanted and valued
- Improving the lives of carers and kinship carers
- Raising awareness and advocating for young people in care.
